What we collect
- Order details you send us: your name, phone number, delivery address, the items you order, any notes, and your confirmation that you're 18 or over when ordering age-restricted items.
- Payment: online payments (Pay now with Apple Pay, Google Pay or card) are taken by Stripe, and card-link payments by Teya. We don't see or store your full card details. For Pay now orders we keep your order, name, phone, delivery address, amount and payment status.
- ID checks: our driver looks at photo ID for age-restricted items. We don't copy or keep your ID.
- Dealzon Rewards (if you join): your name, mobile number, a protected copy of your 4-number PIN (we can't read your PIN), and if you give them your email and postcode. We also keep whether you've confirmed you're 18 or over, whether you've agreed to get offers, your points balance and a history of points added and used.
- Your basket: the items in your basket are saved only in your own browser so they're still there if you come back. They aren't sent to us until you choose to send your order.
This website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. Card details are only entered on Stripe's secure checkout page, never on this website.
How we use it
- To confirm, prepare, deliver and take payment for your order (to perform our contract with you).
- To meet our legal duties, for example age-restricted sales rules and keeping business and tax records.
- To deal with questions, refunds and complaints.
- If you join Dealzon Rewards: to run your points account, and to send you offers and points updates on WhatsApp because you've agreed to this. You can stop offers at any time by messaging STOP, and you can leave Rewards at any time.
We don't sell your information or use it for marketing unless you ask us to.
Who we share it with
- WhatsApp (Meta): orders and messages are sent through WhatsApp, under WhatsApp's own privacy policy.
- Stripe: if you use Pay now, to process your payment (including Apple Pay and Google Pay).
- Teya: if you pay by card link, to process your payment.
- Cloudflare: hosts this website and stores Dealzon Rewards member details and points for us.
- Our delivery staff, only to deliver your order.
- Authorities, where the law requires it.
When you visit this website, your browser also loads fonts from Google Fonts, looks up the postcode you enter using the free postcodes.io service to work out your delivery charge, and loads product images from our suppliers' image servers. Those services may receive your IP address as part of a normal web request.
How long we keep it
We keep order and payment records for up to 6 years for tax and accounting purposes. We delete WhatsApp order conversations once we no longer need them for the order, refunds or complaints. Dealzon Rewards details are kept while you're a member; if you ask to leave, we delete your details and points.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how we use it. Contact us using the details above. If you're unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
